    The Non Omnis Moriar Foundation opened a competition the fifth time in 2016 to commemorate late classicist István Hahn (1913–1984). The founders biannually intend to assist a postgraduate scholar or teacher of antiquity below the age of 35 to organize an abroad study tour for their professional development.

    The local section of the International Students of History Association held its Preparing Workshop in Eger between 4th and 6th of March.

  • Visiting Lecturers in the 2015/2016 Spring Semester

    This semester is the fourth time when the Doctoral School of History announces a series of lectures given by visiting lecturers. This year the students have the opportunity to meet six historians from domestic and transborder universities. The schedule of the lectures can be found on the poster attached.

  • Our Colleague’s Presentation in Bad Kissingen

    Andor Nagy from the Institute of History attended a conference held between 18–20 November 2015, in Bad Kissingen, situated in the Bavarian region of Lower Franconia, Germany. The German title of his presentation was "Die Lebensweise der Kronstädter Patrizierfamilien an der Wende vom 17. zum 18. Jahrhundert".
